Get to know the owner of 4Paws!
Hi, I’m Jayne! Here’s a little insight into my background and how I turned my lifelong passion for dogs into a career.
I grew up in the heart of Lancashire, surrounded by countryside and a deep love for animals—especially dogs and horses. My family always had dogs, and throughout my childhood, I was lucky to share my home with Ebony, a mongrel mix, and Jenny, a rescue Labrador-Collie cross.
Initially, I pursued a career in catering, training as a professional chef. At 18, I moved to Manchester, ready to take on city life, and by 19, I made the bold decision to move to Australia, where I spent four years building a successful career in fine dining. However, homesickness led me back to the UK, where I settled in London and worked my way up in some of the city’s most prestigious hotels. Yet, despite my achievements, something was missing.
Then came Vixen, my lively and intelligent Sproodle. At just 11 weeks old, she stole my heart and changed my life. Raising her made me realize how much I wanted to work with dogs professionally. Inspired by her, I took a leap of faith and founded 4Paws Dog Walking.
What started as a solo venture has grown into a passionate team dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for dogs.
For me, dogs are more than just a job—they’re my passion and my way of life. As the saying goes, find a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.
